Griffin Georgia Kennel Club represents the Spaulding county area of Georgia. GGKC is affiliated with the American Kennel Club, and sponsors conformation, obedience, agility and rally events. We are part of the Cherokee Rose Cluster of dog shows held at the Atlanta Expo Center. GGKC members are friendly and enthusiastic and strive to serve the community of dog lovers in the Griffin Georgia area.
Currently meetings are on an as needed basis because of COVID-19. The Spalding County Senior Center has not started allowing us to use meeting space yet.
We normally meet the third Tuesday of every month at 7:30 pm at the Spalding County Senior Center

GGKC co-hosts four days of shows, Cherokee Rose Cluster, with Conyers Kennel Club, The cluster is held at the Atlanta Expo Center on Jonesboro Road in February. Most of our members volunteer for helping at the shows, and everyone has a great time.

GGKC holds a sanctioned match every year at the Griffin City Park. Championship points are not awarded at matches, but the match is intended as a much-needed venue for practice for beginning dogs and handlers, as well as aspiring judges.
